Pages to YOUR People - with Jimdo PagePartner

PagePartner - JimdoPages for YOUR Community

You probably know our motto, "Pages to the People"… but have you ever asked yourself why? Well, with our website creator, anyone and everyone can put together their own website. We promise! So what do we mean now by Pages to YOUR People?

You might know a group of people who definitely should have websites, but maybe they're not sure how to go about getting started (not everyone knows how easy it is today using Jimdo). Now you can make it really easy for them with Jimdo PagePartner. You're not just joining the interactive web, you'll be helping to create it! The video below will give you a brief introduction. To start, just click on it.

Join PagePartner in three easy steps -- and for free!

You can probably think of different groups or communities you'd like to help start websites. For example, a sports league that would like to help each team set up its own website, or a band that wants to offer its fans an easy way to set up their own official fanpages. The possibilities are endless -- take a look at a few more examples. And if you come up with more ideas along the way, who you could help out as a Jimdo PagePartner, go for it! You know your people best…

Let's get started!

  1. Figured out what community or niche group you're going to target? Register for a free JimdoPage and set it up to meet the needs that group. Go crazy with your templates for band or fan pages -- make it colorful, add as many photos and videos as you want! If it's going to be a template for a doctor's office? You might want to go a little more conservative…
  2. Once you've finished putting together the template: fill out the application for PagePartner. Jimdo will send you a special sign-up box that you can embed on your website or landing page (not on the template). If your website is a JimdoPage, you can do this really easily using the "Widget/HTML" element. Everyone who signs up using the special sign-up box gets a site based on your template and is off to a great start, thanks to your help.
  3. Now it's up to you to spread the word! Share with your community, and they'll be sure to take advantage of the simplest way to make a website yet.

Welcome to PagePartner!

In the photo gallery below you can take a look at a few of the templates that our PagePartners have created already. Browse, get inspired, you can do it too!

Looking forward to see your PagePartner submissions. Have fun, and don't forget: PAGES TO YOUR PEOPLE!

Well, I've been wanting jimdo to dosomething like this for a very, very, very long time!!!!! Now if they would just get templates that incorporated a vertical menu bar on the LEFT side of the page, and maybe some well, sexier design ioptions that don;t need to be hand-cioded, I could almost be totally happy !!!

Jimdo is nice. Just wish there is a tutorial that teaches newbies. Something like a pdf or guide. Hate going to forums clicking around unless have problems that need community help.

A basic or professional guide on how to set up website or an e-store would be nice.
