Good News for Photographers - Improved Color Profile
Photos bring every website to life! That's why our newest improvement is special, for photographers in particular, but for everyone else who has photos on their site! Starting today, all new images on your Jimdo will have correct color profiles.

Previously, the system simplified these profiles, but now they're totally preserved and will display exactly as in the original photos. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference (see the example
below) but those of you with keen eyes and the professional photographers will notice the difference right away the next time you upload a photo!
Every image has a certain color profile. this profile is converted so that it becomes information that every browser can understand. That means your images will no longer display different in
different browsers -- they'll be consistent in all their glory. Important: this color profile update only applies to newly uploaded photos. All the images already on your website will stay in
there current quality and colors.
This improvement is the result of feedback from many Jimdo users who are professional and hobby photographers. Thank you all for sharing your thoughts and suggestions for improvements with us.

Finally we made it! :-)
I'd like just to remember that very likely you don't need to upload again all your previous photos on your websites, because when I found out and notified this colour profile problem it was the middle of September, and before then everything was quite alright. So, Just have a look at the pictures you have loaded in the last couple of months.
