Email Forwarding

A forwarding address is very useful if you want to keep using your Hotmail or Gmail (or any other online email provider) email, but still want a branded address for customers. To set up email forwarding, follow these steps:

1Log into your JimdoPage and go to Settings > Email and Domain Management > Email Forwarding.

2

Choose a forwarding address. Remember: You cannot use this address as a real email account! Enter the name of your forwarding address ("Alias"), then click on "+ Add a new email alias".

3

Type in your real email address (where you want the email to be forwarded to), press Save, and presto! You've just created an alias.

For advanced users: If you would like an alias to be sent to more than one email address, you can simply repeat these steps, entering the alias name again bust selecting a different email address to forward to.  For example, you can enter "sales@domain.com" and have it forward emails to "user1@domain.com." You could then create another alias also using "sales@domain.com" but set it to foward email to "user2@domain.com."  This would allow emails being sent to "sales@domain.com" to end up in the inboxes of both user1 and user2.
