Columns

Want to put two videos side by side?  Or a video and a description? Or maybe you would like a few columns of side-by-side text on your page?  

 

The answer to all of these situations is the Columns element!  This new element operates as a container for other elements, like text, photo, and headings.

 

Inserting Columns and Content

1. Start by clicking on the "+" symbol and adding a Columns element where you want horizontal content to appear.

 

2. When it's created, the new Columns element will display two "Add new element" boxes - one on the left and one on the right. Click on the "+" button at the bottom right to add a new column or on the trash can symbol to delete a column.

 


3. Click on the "Add new element" box to add a new Text element, a Photo, Photo Gallery or more. Use the HTML/Widget element to add a video or music player, or other widgets or HTML code. Don't forget to press save when you're finished!

Restrictions

There are a few restrictions to this element:

  • Column elements cannot be added inside of other column elements
  • You also cannot place a blog display element into a column
  • Most of the time, a column will not look good in a sidebar
