Using GoogleMaps on Jimdo

Add a GoogleMap to Your Site

 

1. Click on the "Add new element" or "+" symbol.


2. Click on "GoogleMaps"

3. Adjust the settings on the bottom:

  • The first 3 buttons control what map zoom capabillites you want to display
  • The 4th button over toggles map and satellite views
  • The 5th button over toggles the distance legend
  • The 6th button over toggles Street View
  • The last button allows you to add driving directions

You can also set the height of the map anywhere between 100 and 1000 pixels.


4. Below the settings, you can search for a location by entering the address into the empty search field and clicking "Search," and/or add a placemark by entering an address where you want it to appear.
