The Facebook Element

You can connect Facebook with your Jimdo site in a variety of ways -- easily!

 

First, though, you have to ask yourself how you want to do this. Do you want visitors to share the content on your site with their friends, such as your latest blog post? (Like Button) Or do you want visitors to your site to easily Like your Facebook Fan Page? (Like Box)

 

Once you've decided which one you want, open up your elements menu (by hovering your mouse over an existing element, or in the case of an empty page, click on the "Add new element" buton) and choose the Facebook element, like the one to the right.

Like Button

The Like button is perfect for getting more visitors involved on your site.  The best part is that when someone clicks on this, it can end up displaying on their wall! Since your blog is constantly being updated, this is perfect for visitors to share links with their friends.

Like Box

Do you or your company have a Facebook Fan Page? Show off the number of Likes, faces and even your stream! To do this simply enter in your Facebook Fan Page URL and that's it!

 

Note: This will only work for Fan Pages, not for profiles.
