Jimdo empowers people to create their own websites without technical skills or coding knowledge. Jimdo's strengths are great usability (we have passionate users pushing 70), a high degree of visual flexibility (it's very easy to integrate your own design), and high-quality integration of photos, videos, and text. Over 5 million users around the world are already building their websites with Jimdo -- and we're continuing to grow exponentially.

Jimdo is already huge on the continent, but there's lots of room to grow in the UK and Ireland. That's why we're looking for a Business Development and Marketing Generalist to help us expand!

This position is full-time and located at our headquarters in Hamburg.

 

What you'll be doing

Jimdo is looking for a marketing and biz dev all-rounder to help us gain traction in the UK and Ireland. You'll join our ever-growing team in Hamburg to help Jimdo users build and and succeed with their websites.

  • Making connections for potential partnership/collaboration opportunities
  • Hypercharging our PR strategy for the islands
  • Representing Jimdo at events and meet-ups in the UK and Ireland
  • Supporting our English-speaking users via email and webinars
  • Creating and maintain great tutorials and help articles

 

Who we're looking for

  • You have an outgoing, 'can-do' personality
  • You're a native English speaker and love communicating
  • You're a 'big picture person' and can organize a multifaceted project
  • You not only set up deals -- you also follow it through to the finish and analyze results
  • Extra points if you speak German (not required)
