The founders of Jimdo

Matthias Henze.
Marketing, Distribution

* 1979. Matthias has a diploma in business studies. He studied at the universities of Kiel, Germany and Goteborg, Sweden. In 2004, he was one of the founders of NorthClick, and of Jimdo in 2007. Almost every evening he puts up a good fight against Fridtjof and Christian (it's all about being the best in Atomic Bomberman).

Fridtjof Detzner
Interface Design, System Development

* 1983. Fridtjof and co-founder Christian founded his first company, web agency dream-up.de when they were still going to school. Later he founded NorthClick and Jimdo together with Christian and Matthias. At the moment, he practices handstand-running and furthermore he is innovator of the so-called "salary-golfing".

Christian Springub
Programming, System Development

* 1982. Christian founded with Fridtjof the web agency dream-up.de, later with Matthias and Fridtjof NorthClick and Jimdo.

Oliver Moser

Business Developer

* 1979. After he finished his training as a digital media designer, Oliver studied media science and in 2006 founded the internet startup company spielerkabine.net. In January 2008 Jimdo won him as a business developer. Hamburg already feels like home for him...

Soenke Ruempler

Software Developer, System architecture

* 1982. Besides his full-time job at Jimdo, Soenke is also studying business informatics. Soenke has worked at Jimdo from the beginning and does not only care about the software development and system architecture, but is also the trainer for our trainee Martin.

Svenja Pokora

Online Communications Manager

* 1982. Studied business with focus on International marketing and joined Jimdo in August 2007. Svenja is responsible for the content of Jimdo and coordinates the different language versions.

Janina Mumberg

Design

* 1982. Janina is trained as digital media designer, with a focus on non-print and design. She creates new layouts for Jimdo and implements them.

Nadja Macht

Design.

* 1979. Nadja is also a trained digital media designer. As a freelancer, she creates and implements new layouts for Jimdo.

Hinrich Sager

PHP-Programmer

* 1957. Hinrich is one of the PHP developers at Jimdo. Before he joined the company in November 2007, he already worked as a PHP freelancer, Doctor, Sheppard and Locksmith.

Boris Erdmann

Developer

Since Boris joined the Jimdo team at the end of 2007, he has developed new features for Jimdo all day long. (He does not wear his Outback-Jack-Hat very often, by the way...)

Michael Dunsky

System Administrator

* 1974. Since January 2008 Michael works as system administrator for Jimdo, keeps the machines running and solves the computer problems of desperate colleagues (most of them do not belong to the developer team ;) ). Before he joined Jimdo, he worked as a server administrator and in software development.

Hendric Rüsch

Business Development Assistant

*1981. Hendric joined the Jimdo Team in February 2008 to assist Olli with words and deeds. He concurrently studies in Bremen.

Alina Atzler

Business Development Assistant

*1984. Alina has assisted Olli with Business Development activities since May 2008. She is also currently studying social science in Oldenburg, where she is preparing for her final examinations and hopes to complete her studies soon.

Martin Denk

Trainee (Focus on Programming)

* 1986. In August 2007, Martin joined Jimdo as first trainee in the company's history. He is Soenke's proud and joy (even if he comes home with only a B+ in his exams). Young upcoming talent in Atomic Bomberman.

Samuel Xiao

Marketing and Sales Manager Jimdo China

* 1981. In 2005, Samuel has received his Master of Science in Marketing from the University of East Anglia, UK. He worked for several years in marketing and is now responsible for Jimdo's marketing and sales activities in China.

Shijie Chen

Trainee, Jimdo China

*1986. In 2007, Mr. Shijiechen joined the Jimdo team. He has a degree in Computer Science, which is why is very interested in programming. Furthermore, he is responsible for the customer service of Jimdo China.

Dan Dai

IT manager, Jimdo China

*1983. Dan has worked at Jimdo from the first beginning. He is the IT Manager for Jimdo China.
