Çiğdem Aslan's official fan site. Istanbul-born, London-based singer, performing Rebetiko, Balkan and Anatolian songs.

"I used a photo I took of Çiğdem and based the website around that photo. I found it extremely easy to use. I showed my girlfriend how to use it and update it and I haven't touched it since. I was really impressed by the amount of backgrounds you could chose from and they weren't some cheesy pictures, they were really good patterns which fit really well with any design."

From the Jimdo Spotlight on the Thing in the Spring:

"The Thing in the Spring started basically because my buddy Ryan Wilson and I started putting on shows and designing posters together... We live in Peterborough, which is a pretty small hamlet in southern New Hampshire; not a lot of groups that we wanted to see were really coming here, so we decided to just start writing to bands we were into."

Musician - Session Drummer UK

"When looking for a site to help me make my own website, I went through a few very poor sites. Ones that wouldn't let me do what I wanted, and ones that did were far too complicated for me to work out - after all, I am a drummer! My favourite feature, though it being a very boring thing, is the fact you can edit text just by clicking on it! There are a lot of websites that when it comes to editing the text, you have to go through coding and other, but the click and type function, is so easy and perfect for easily editing my site."
