Domain Owner Form
From Jimdo Help
What is the form for?
If you're upgrading to JimdoPro and have selected a new domain name... or if you're adding another domain name to your existing JimdoPro account, we might need you to confirm the information we have on file for you.
In order to register a new domain name for you, we need to pass on your contact and address information to the domain registrar. When doing this, we have to follow their specifications, regarding, for example, the use of special characters. That's why we created this form to help you make sure your contact information is in the right format.
Finding the form
Should we need you to review your domain registration data, you'll receive an email with a direct link to the Domain Owner Form. Don't worry if you accidentally deleted the email. Just log in on your Jimdo site and click on "Settings" on the right side.
Note: This form is not available for all domain registrations. If you need to fill out this form, we will notify you by email!
Important: After you've filled out the form and clicked send, the domain registration button will disappear from the Settings panel. That means you won't be able to make any changes after you've pressed send, so make sure the data is right!
Filling out the Form
The first thing you'll see is a blue box. This box contains all the characters you can use for the domain owner information fields. You'll see that you can use all regular letters and numbers, as well as some special characters. Enter your information into the appropriate fields. Fields marked with "(optional)" are not required, of course.
The last step is to send your information. Click the button at the bottom.
If one of the fields contains a character which is not allowed, you'll receive an error message. You'll have a chance to make changes and correct the problem.
Note: Once you click send on the form, your domain name will be immediately registered. It is not possible to go back and change the domain name. If you want a domain name other than the one you entered when you placed your order, do not complete the form. Instead, contact our Support team.
