File download

You can add nicely visible download links to your Jimdo page, in form of this file download module. The link will consist of a title in bold, a description, the file name, the file type, the file size and a little picture also representing the file type. Upload

Select a file from your computer by clicking the "Browse" button, then click on "Upload document" to transmit it to your website. Maximum upload filesize is 5 MB with JimdoFree and 20 MB with JimdoPro.

Title

The title of your file that will be displayed in bold. It doesn't need to be the same as the file name.

Description

A text that describes your file in more detail, if necessary.

Don't forget to click the "Save" button to make your changes visible for others!

Since September 2008, only the file downloads of JimdoPro sites have static links. File downloads links on JimdoFree sites are dynamically generated and expire after approximately 1 hour. For more information, see Static Links for File Downloads.
