What is a header?

The header (also called "emotionheader" at Jimdo) is the top part of your Jimdo page, most of the time consisting of a picture and a headline. You can easily change the look of your emotionheader after your fancy.

Header image

Click on the emotionheader to prompt a window with its settings.

If you want to use an own image, you can upload it here. In case your picture's size doesn't match that of the emotionheader, it will be cropped and/or resized accordingly. For more information on the allowed image formats, see: Image formats.

You can choose one of seven font families for your headline: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, Times, Georgia, Courier New and Trebuchet MS. Optionally the text can be displayed in bold.

You can either choose one of four pre-defined headline positions (by clicking one of the buttons with the word "Position" on it) or set the position more precisely by using the controllers. Clicking the crossed-out button will make the headline invisible.
