How to communicate your Jimdo-Page on the Internet

Communicate your address (e.g. yourname.jimdo.com) on the Internet!
- Complete the data in your Jimdo-Account
- Pay especially close attention to tags and the description of your page (those are also used as meta-tags for search engines)
- Include your Name and place
- Ask your friends to place a link to your Jimdo-Page on their own homepage/blog (works very well for search engines)
- Take part in web forums that match the topic of your website
- Don’t forget to fill your page with new content, news etc. (search engines like that! )
- Insert your address as your homepage address in your online profiles, such as Facebook.com, Myspace.com etc.
- Send your Jimdo-Page via e-mail to friends and family
- Insert the address in your signature in bulletin boards and e-mails
- Post the address of your page in bulletin boards, chat rooms etc. if the content of your Jimdo-Page contributes something interesting to the discussion
- Add the address to your business card
- Add your Jimdo-Page to link portals
- Print stickers!
- Create T-Shirts or cups with your URL in online shops like spreadshirt.com
- Create a video tour through your homepage and upload this video onto Youtube.com, etc.
- Use your address as copyright note in personal pictures, etc.
- Take part in website competitions
- Let everyone know via (for example) twitter.com when you update your page
