Moving From iWeb to Jimdo

Have you heard? If you are an iWeb website owner, chances are, with Apple moving to the cloud, your website might end up in eternal nothingness. Of course, these are still rumors. But then, what if the rumor are true? Better safe than sorry… Keep reading to learn how to bring your iWeb website over to Jimdo in a few easy steps.

Sign up!


Head over to Jimdo, choose a username and enter in your email address.

Choose your Layout

If you're using one of these iWeb Layouts, consider using our equivalent (Right side). And don't forget that these are only five examples of the Layouts Jimdo has to offer.

Add the pages of your site

Click on "Edit Navigation" to easily add the same pages to your new site. You can even choose to keep the same ones you had on iWeb. Click on the plus sign to create new pages.

Edit your pages!

Click on the plus sign to start adding elements to your site. You can add text, photos, photos with text, YouTube videos, comment forms and 1000 widgets on your site (using the "Widget/HTML" element).

Upgrade!
