Moving content from JimdoFree to JimdoPro

Upgrading to JimdoPro and JimdoBusiness is easy! The best part of it is that all of the work that went into your JimdoFree site does not have to be done all over again! When you upgrade to JimdoPro or JimdoBusiness, your content will not necessarily be "transferred," your site will stay right where it is.

Once you have upgraded to JimdoPro or JimdoBusiness, your JimdoFree site will recognize that you have done so and won't start over, but rather, it will give you access to your own domain as well as to more freedom to customize your site.

Additionally, visitors who are used to typing in the .jimdo.com URL will also stay; they will simply be redirected to your new domain.

The same goes for any links and your current Pagerank. The transition to JimdoPro or JimdoBusiness will not remove your site from search engine results.

Not only will your content stay on your site, but you will also be able to create even more content than before. With JimdoPro and JimdoBusiness, you have access to the Newsletter system, your own logo at the header of the page and your own email address!

If I upgrade my site to JimdoPro or JimdoBusiness, will I lose my work/the contents?

There is no need to worry about this; you will not lose any content that you have on your JimdoFree site! The only content you will lose are the Jimdo ads.
