Instead of adding single images to your Jimdo page, you can also create an entire gallery of photos to show your visitors.

This option allows you to pick one of two formats for your gallery, the HTML/gallery format and the Flash format.
This format displays your pictures in a simple grid, sized down.
You can choose from the original and the square proportion. The original proportion displays the pictures in their original formats, while the square proportion shows only square-shaped sections of the images, to maintain a uniform look.
This function allows you to increase or decrease the size of all your pictures simultaneously. This may require you to wait a little bit, while the server is recalculating the picture sizes.
With this function you can set the frame style for your gallery: no frame, small frame or larger frame.
If enabled, visitors will have the option to view the images in your photo gallery in full size by clicking on the previews. This function may need to be activated first - see: Settings, Photo gallery.
Using the Flash format will let visitors see your gallery in form of a slide show.
Hint: If you have a lot of pictures in your gallery, switching to the Flash format may take a little while, as the server is recalculating the images.
The delay represents the amount of time it takes until the next picture in the slide show will be loaded (in seconds).
The option "Start now?" lets you specify whether or not the slide show should start automatically (or only once the visitor clicks the "Play" button).
There are two views available: compact and detailled view. This option has no influence on how visitors will see the gallery - it's solely for editing purposes.
The compact view displays the pictures in a grid. You can change each picture's position via Drag & Drop - just move your mouse over one of the images, hold down the left mouse button and drag the image anywhere else inside the grid.
The detailled view displays the pictures as a list. It allows you to allocate subtitles to your pictures or even rotate them by 90 degrees. Changing the picture's positions works just like in the compact view.
This function prompts the image upload window. Click the "Browse" button to select one or more images on your computer, then click "Upload" to transmit them to your website. Click "Delete" to remove a picture, in case you made an error. For more information on the allowed image formats, see: Image Formats.
Don't forget to click the "Save" button to make your changes visible for others!
