We know that Jimdo is missing a multi-language option that would allow you to display each page in a different language, and we're working on a way to solve this problem. Unfortunately, there aren't many solutions out there just yet.
In the meantime, you can "clone" your home page or sub-pages in different languages to provide multiple languages on your site.
Here's how it works:
Create a page or set of pages in your preferred language (e.g. Spanish), then create copies of each one of these original pages in another language (e.g. English).
In order to keep your navigation neat and tidy to viewers, you can then hide the cloned pages via the navigation menu so that only the original pages appear to viewers. (In order to hide a page, click on the navigation menu. Click on the eye icon next to each page you want to hide and it will no longer appear to visitors.)
You can use the deeplink feature to make these cloned/hidden pages accessible to viewers who visit your site. (Even if you page is "hidden" to viewers, it is still accessible via a link.) To do so, copy the address (e.g. http://yourname.jimdo.com/hiddenpage1/) of the cloned page. Go to the original page that corresponds to the cloned page, then create a link to the cloned page. (For example, "Please click here for English.") Don't forget to also create a link on the cloned/hidden page to the original page.
To find out what the deeplink of the cloned/hidden page is, create the cloned page, then visit it in normal view mode (before hiding it). Save the site address (e.g. http://yourname.jimdo.com/hiddenpage1/), then hide the page.
Hope that will help you out until we find a better solution for this problem. Let us know if you have any questions!
