How do I switch from JimdoFree to JimdoPro?

You can upgrade from JimdoFree to JimdoPro in a few easy steps right on your Jimdo page.

Step 1 - Upgrade Center
Log in to your Jimdo Page.
Click on the "Upgrade" sidebar button on the right.
Step 2 - Choose a domain name
A New Domain Name
In the upgrade window, you'll see a suggestion for a domain name. You can check to see any of the domain names you're interested in are available. Once you've decided, click on "order now".
Using a domain name you already own
If you already have a domain name registered that you'd like to use with your JimdoPro account, enter it here as well. You'll see a message that the domain is not available, but if you check off the box below, you can continue with the upgrade process. Take a look at our instructions for setting up your own domain with JimdoPro.
Step 3
Fill out the form on the next page -- your contact information and your payment information -- then click on the "Next" button.
Step 4
Go over the order information, make sure everything is correct. If it is, click "complete purchase" and you're done! You'll receive a confirmation email shortly for your records, detailing your upgrade purchase. In a few days (sometimes faster), your domain will be ready for your Jimdo site. Of course, all the other features and advantages of JimdoPro will be activated immediately.
