Without further ado, I'd like to introduce our three winners and a number of other fantastic sites that deserve recognition.
Grand prize winner: She and Her Camera
Analysis: Oozing with personality, Monique's site utilizes playful fonts, beautiful photographs, and a strong structure. We also loved her use of color and her photo galleries. Little details like her subtle yet fun favicon put her over the top.
First runner-up: Norla Design
Analysis: This website is as slick and well-designed as the stunning lamps that they sell. A multilingual site with a full set of pages in both English and Polish, the Norla Design site demonstrated a mastery of white space and clean, readable typography.
Second runner-up: Jandeys
Analysis: Jandeys took the reinvention challenge to heart by diving in and making a good site even better using our Malaga template. The site does wonders with the drop-down menu to help put their extensive set of pages into a simple and logical hierarchical structure. They spent time understanding their audience and their brand and one can't help imagining sitting on the beach while flipping through their catalog of sandals.
We couldn't leave out some of the other exceptional sites entered in our contest! From musicians to artists to online shops, we loved seeing how you are taking your Jimdo sites and making them truly unique.
Thank you to everyone who participated! We hope you can use these websites to get inspired and start your own website reinvention. Here's a summary of our Reinvention posts to help you do just that:
