Video on the go

Video killed the radio star—and for good reason. So many companies are using video to get their message across and interact with their users and subscribers.

With our new video module for Android users, you can paste a link to a video (e.g. on YouTube or Vimeo) and it will display right on your website.

Just find the video you want, tap on “Share”, then copy and paste the link into the video module on your Jimdo app. In the settings, you can then adjust the size of the video display and just save!

Do more with your store

Shop users rejoice! Users can now manage their orders anytime and anywhere.

Our new screen shows you the list of open orders and the order details for each transaction so you can see the specifics of each order placed on your store. Users can also check out product, pricing, and billing information.

You can now mark your orders depending on whether items have been paid or shipped. The color will change accordingly to red, yellow, or green so it’s always easy to see what’s going on. You can check previous orders in the archived orders section. Shop owners also have the option to now delete or add private notes to an order.

The design is adaptive so it will appear on one screen if you have a larger device e.g iPad or on separate screens with a smartphone. As a nice extra, you also have the option to now call or email your client from the app if something urgent comes up!

Android users can now use the system image picker to get access to all photos recently taken on the smartphone.

If you are more of a Dropbox or Google Photos type, you can also use these apps to upload your latest pics. Of course, you also have the option to just take a new photo—you can never have too many selfies!

Once you have chosen the photos you want, they then appear in your Gallery. Here you can edit the photos using Adobe’s SDK Image Editor and add a caption.
