The weather may be cooling down but your website is hotting up just in time for the busiest season of the year. We\u2019ve teamed up with Facebook to make promoting your business easy with just a few clicks from your own website!<\/p>\n

What does this mean? With our new \u201cPromote Ads\u201d feature on your website, you can select blog articles, shop products or individual subpages from your Jimdo website and use a (paid) ad to promote them on Facebook. For example, if you have a new product you can use a Facebook ad to spread the word and reach more potential or current customers.<\/p>\n

All you need is a Facebook account! You can then use Facebook Analytics in your Menu Editor to optimize your advertising campaigns and track how visitors are browsing your website\u2014just enter the Facebook Pixel ID<\/strong> (a series of numbers) on your Jimdo website.<\/p>\n

Where can I find this on my Jimdo website?<\/h2>\n

On the top right-hand side of your screen where the \u201cShare\u201d button is, you will now see a \u201cPromote Ads\u201d button that will take you to a wizard. Here you can use an ad to promote your pages or blog posts.<\/p>\n

Just follow the steps on the screen and choose the type of post you would like to promote.<\/p>\n

After selecting the subpage or blog post you want to promote on Facebook, the last step will open a window to Facebook that will show you the configuration of the ad.<\/p>\n

In the preview of the ad creation wizard, you can now choose your target audience and set the amount you want to spend to promote your post.<\/p>\n

Target group and budget<\/h2>\n

Depending on your topic you can then narrow the audience e.g only people from New York who are interested in “shopping” and are between 18 and 65 years old.<\/p>\n

Likewise, here you specify the budget with which you want to apply your content. The larger the amount, the greater the number of people reached on Facebook.<\/p>\n

Once you click \u201cPromote\u201d you will then see a confirmation screen showing that your boost was successful.<\/p>\n
