For Barbara, knitting is about much more than the final product. It\u2019s about creating something meaningful with your own hands \u2014 colors, textures, creativity, and connection. That\u2019s why having a strong online presence is so important to her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor my work, an online presence is essential. I need a place where I can promote my workshops and show who I am, because customers want to know the person behind the patterns.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Alongside her website, online shop, and workshops, Barbara also hosts an English-language podcast \u201cCozy Knits & Clever Plans\u201d with her sister. They talk about knitting, creativity, planning, everyday life, and community-building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since May 19, 2026<\/strong>, Jimdo has been offering additional tools that could be the next logical step for Barbara: With Jimdo Local, she could manage her business profile from a single location and ensure that her information stays up to date on Google, Maps, local directories, recommendation systems, and AI assistants. With Brand Monitoring, she could also track where and how people are talking about Seidenfaden Knits. This way, her website wouldn\u2019t just be found\u2014it would become an even stronger foundation for regional visibility, trust, and new bookings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting booked<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Workshops are a key part of Barbara\u2019s business. She currently uses Jimdo Smart Forms on her website, which allow interested parties to get in touch and provide relevant information. This helps her collect inquiries in an organized way and prepare for workshops more effectively. This is already working well for Barbara, and with the new Jimdo booking tool, the process can become even simpler in the future: Customers find the course, book directly online, and the administrative workflow integrates with the website, invoicing, and payment. This turns an inquiry into a streamlined process. No more spreadsheet chaos. No more endless back-and-forth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting paid<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Barbara used to create her invoices<\/a> manually in Word while also using accounting software. That took time and effort: checking addresses, verifying details, entering bank information, formatting everything professionally, and transferring it to the system. Today, she uses the Jimdo Invoice Tool, which saves her two-thirds of the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
