New Image Editor Makes Your Jimdo Website Picture Perfect

Big news, Jimdo users! We’ve added Adobe’s powerful Creative SDK Image Editor to Jimdo’s website builder. Now you have an easier, faster way to customize images so they look just right on your website. Edit, crop, enhance...all without leaving your site!

Image editing has been one of our most requested features, and that’s why we’re really excited to show you what the new Creative SDK Image Editor can do. To use it, just open up one of your image elements like the Photo Element, Photo Gallery Element, or Text with Photo Element. Click on the new Edit button in the bottom-left corner and you can start transforming images right in your website.

The image editor is also available on-the-go in our iOS and Android apps. You can add great-looking pictures to your website right from your phone, and edit them in Photo Elements or Text with Photo Elements.

Change your mind? Want to make a small adjustment? There’s no need to re-upload photos or use a different photo editing program. It’s all integrated into your website when you’re in Edit Mode.

We also love that now you can add effects and overlays to your photos, a la Instagram (because, let’s be honest, those filters make us all look like better photographers…) You can also add frames and text, adjust colors, and lots more.

But don’t take our word for it — the best way to get to know the new image editor is to log in and give it a try.

You already know that professional, high-quality photos are an important part of your website and brand. Now it’s even easier to get the look you want, without needing any special tools or software. Let us know what you think!

Have you been inspired to use the new Creative SDK Image Editor? Any questions? Leave a comment and let us know!

    Boooo. All I get is...

    "Error reaching Aviary services."

I guess I will have to jump through hoops for Adobe on yet another website. Update this, update that, do this, do that, not compatible on Firefox, will only work on Chrome... etc., etc., etc.
