Promote Your Content on Facebook Straight From Your Website!

The weather may be cooling down but your website is hotting up just in time for the busiest season of the year. We’ve teamed up with Facebook to make promoting your business easy with just a few clicks from your own website!

What does this mean? With our new “Promote Ads” feature on your website, you can select blog posts or individual subpages from your Jimdo website and use a (paid) ad to promote them on Facebook. For example, if you have a new product you can use a Facebook ad to spread the word and reach more potential or current customers.

All you need is a Facebook account! You can then use Facebook Analytics in your Menu Editor to optimize your advertising campaigns and track how visitors are browsing your website—just enter the Facebook Pixel ID (a series of numbers) on your Jimdo website.

Where can I find this on my Jimdo website?

On the top right-hand side of your screen where the “Share” button is, you will now see a “Promote Ads” button that will take you to a wizard. Here you can use an ad to promote your pages or blog posts.

Just follow the steps on the screen and choose the type of post you would like to promote.

After selecting the subpage or blog post you want to promote on Facebook, the last step will open a window to Facebook that will show you the configuration of the ad.

In the preview of the ad creation wizard, you can now choose your target audience and set the amount you want to spend to boost your post.

 

Target group and budget

Depending on your topic you can then narrow the audience e.g only people from New York who are interested in “shopping” and are between 18 and 65 years old.

Likewise, here you specify the budget with which you want to apply your content. The larger the amount, the greater the number of people reached on Facebook.

Once you click “Boost” you will then see a confirmation screen showing that your boost was successful.

 

How can I use Facebook Analytics?

Facebook Analytics is great to have and allows you to optimize your advertising campaigns and track how your visitors are browsing your site. You will also be able to see the statistics of your Jimdo website in your “Facebook Business Manager” account. Integrating statistics from your Jimdo website to Facebook Business Manager is meant to support you and help optimize your marketing actions according to your site visitors behavior.

Facebook Analytics allows you to:

  • Track: Measure the actions from your Facebook Ads.
  • Optimize: Deliver your ads to your target audiences to get more conversions.
  • Target audiences: Build audiences from people who converted or from similar audiences to reach new people.

In order to enable Facebook Analytics, you’ll have to log in to your Facebook Business Manager then just follow the instructions on how to add it to your website in our Support Centre article here.

Once you’ve added your Facebook Pixel ID in the Menu Editor of your Jimdo website under SEO > Settings > Facebook Analytics then you’re good to go!
