Meet Our Reinvention Contest Winners!

It's been an amazing month. The entire Jimdo team is so excited with the enthusiasm and passion that everyone demonstrated while giving their websites a modern touch and embracing the new Jimdo templates. Thank you to everyone who read our posts all month, tried something new, commented, and shared your websites in our contest. You should all be very proud of what you have accomplished. We hope that you had as much fun making and updating your websites as we had exploring your creations.

The Best of Reinvention Month

Without further ado, I'd like to introduce our three winners and a number of other fantastic sites that deserve recognition.

Grand prize winner: She and Her Camera

She and Her Camera

Website: www.sheandhercamera.com
Template: Zurich

Analysis: Oozing with personality, Monique's site utilizes playful fonts, beautiful photographs, and a strong structure. We also loved her use of color and her photo galleries. Little details like her subtle yet fun favicon put her over the top.

First runner-up: Norla Design

Norla Design

Website: www.norladesign.com/en/
Template: Rome

Analysis: This website is as slick and well-designed as the stunning lamps that they sell. A multilingual site with a full set of pages in both English and Polish, the Norla Design site demonstrated a mastery of white space and clean, readable typography.

Second runner-up: Jandeys

Website: www.jandeys.co.nz
Template: Malaga

Analysis: Jandeys took the reinvention challenge to heart by diving in and making a good site even better using our Malaga template. The site does wonders with the drop-down menu to help put their extensive set of pages into a simple and logical hierarchical structure. They spent time understanding their audience and their brand and one can't help imagining sitting on the beach while flipping through their catalog of sandals.

Honorable mentions:

We couldn't leave out some of the other exceptional sites entered in our contest! From musicians to artists to online shops, we loved seeing how you are taking your Jimdo sites and making them truly unique.
