Let Us Help You: Our New Blog

We know your time is precious. You all have goals, projects, and dreams that you are working towards. You are running small businesses, organizing teams and clubs, selling amazing handmade goods, sharing music and artwork, and helping to educate the world about your favorite pastimes. You know you need a website but aren’t always sure how it can help you. How can you dedicate the time and energy to get the most out of your site? Who do you look to for advice? Who do you trust?

What do you want to do?

The internet is filled with posts, articles, and stories to give you advice. As a reader, how do you keep up? How can you choose who are the right people to follow to help you with your goals? This is all part of the struggle for your attention, the battle for your precious time. But this doesn’t have to be difficult, especially if you have a direct line to people who are willing and able to help. This is where we would like to step in with our new blog.

Jimdo has a long history of doing things our own way and we’re approaching our new blog with the same unique spin. Every member of our team is going to contribute his or her knowledge and experience to provide a variety of helpful articles, images, and videos. Our team is filled with web designers, coders, marketers, photographers, promoters, writers, editors, small business consultants, and even a CEO dedicated to sharing business insights.

We’re refocusing our blog on the areas of web design, promotion, ecommerce, small business, and productivity. These are topics where we feel we can share our experiences and expertise to make a difference. We’re willing to honestly answer your questions, make suggestions, and guide you along your way.

This commitment to open communication goes all the way to the top. Our three founders have made it a point to share their thoughts, struggles, and triumphs on their own blog to both help their customers and other entrepreneurs understand how and why they make the decisions they do.

I’ve personally made a career out of solving problems and helping small businesses, artists, non-profit organizations, and educators communicate through websites, videos, installations, and exhibits. I’ve worked with dozens of organizations that range in size from one-person companies to large museums and universities. These are people and groups experiencing the same challenges that you are and I’m hoping that the best practices and solutions that I’ve come up with together over the years can also help you.

We want to help you succeed in sharing your passions—whether that passion is for business, photography, food, travel, family, or anything else. If you succeed and meet your goals, then we succeed too.

With that in mind, we have a question for you. Is there any information we can share to help you achieve your goals? What is holding you back? How can we help? What are you looking for?

Please leave us a comment and let us know how we can help. We’ve got lots of great stories and tips ready to go, but your feedback will guide our efforts to help you do great things. I for one can’t wait to see what you come up with!
